Presage Craftsmanship Series Seiko Watchmaking 110th Anniversary Urushi Lacquer Dial Limited Edition. To mark 110 years of watchmaking excellence, Seiko is highlighting its continuous dedication to evolving technology, as well as diversity, equality and the sustainable manufacturing necessary to meet environmental challenges. Part of a collection celebrating traditional Japanese crafts, this exquisite Limited Edition, available only in a controlled-production run of 1,500, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, extends the Presage tradition of blending precision technology with superior craftsmanship and design, offering the finest in Japanese mechanical watchmaking with a uniquely Japanese sense of beauty. Honoring the century-old art of Urushi lacquer, the distinctive dial is in a coppery brown hue inspired by the streetscape of Kanazawa, where the Urushi craft was nurtured through a fusion of aristocratic and samurai traditions. Created by master craftsman Isshu Tamura, the dial expresses gratitude to our culture, featuring a new design with alternating Roman numerals and indices, as well as both day and date retrograde subdials, and a power reserve indicator.
